Microsoft makes its Teams software solution available to help SMEs beat the lockdown

Leading software solution provider, Microsoft, is calling on Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) to pivot to the Microsoft Teams software in order to continue carrying out business activities while partial lockdown is being enforced to curb the COVID-19 spread in every part of the globe. The company said the software will help businesses connect with employees working remotely from home, or meet suppliers and pitch for business while continuing to service customers as usual.

Microsoft Teams is part of the Office 365 offering, a combo of subscription-based enterprise services, introduced to the market in 2011 and updated in 2013 to help business max productivity. The solution comprises presentation application, email to client, calendar, word processor, spreadsheet and more.

Precisely, explaining the features of Microsoft Teams, the firm said, it “is a software solution that enables SMBs to perform many essential business tasks remotely. With Teams, you can virtually chat, collaborate, and meet with employees, customers, suppliers, and partners.”

“The Microsoft Office apps are built right into Teams, so you can use and share the files you create in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook without leaving the tool”, it added.
