Often your network is your networth. Endeavor Nigeria, chaired by veteran banker, Atedo Peterside, comprises select, high impact entrepreneurs whose successes rob on one another.

Endeavor was founded by an American business woman, Linda Rottenberg, in 1997. Presently the organization is present in over 30 countries. The goal of the organization is to identify and help unleash great businesses with capacity for exemplary success.

Notable entrepreneurs who are members of Endeavor Nigeria, apart from Atedo Peterside of Stanbic IBTC, are Chijioke Dozie of former Diamond Bank, Olugbenga Agboola of Flutterwave, Bukky George of HealthPlus chain stores and more.

Other big names who have identified with Endeavor are Halima Dangote; Tayo Oviosu, Paga’s Co-founder and CEO, Bolaji Balogun, a veteran of First City Monument Bank.

An example of the benefits that entrepreneurs derive from being part of the organization is the $2 million Serie B round received by Olugbenga Agboola’s Flutterwave, a fintech platform. Being the CEO of Flutterwave and a member of Endeavor Nigeria, Agboola secured the funding from the investment arm of the organization known as Endeavor Catalyst.

Endeavor doesn’t ask for anyone to apply. Rather it scans the ecosystem for viable companies and their founders.

Members’ companies must have capacity for high impacts. Therefore, the organization has developed a rigorous process that involves panel interviews and screening to adopt the best entrepreneurs around. Founders that scale through stand the chance of accessing up to $5 million when raising fund.
