Lagos state will play host to entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds in the second week of November. Tagged ‘Global Enterprise Week’, the event is being put together by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), an arm of Pan Atlantic University, located in Ibeju-Lekki,where most of the programs will take place.

The Global Enterprise Week is expected to reinforce the positioning of the Enterprise Development Centre as the base for human capital development and national prosperity. Therefore, activities such as Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, Networking Cocktail, a Walk for Entrepreneurship, and Women Enterprise Conference, have been lined up to enliven and empower participants.

Participants are expected from all industries; covering IT, retailing, telecom, alternative energy, tech, entertainment, and creative. Young entrepreneurs, for instance, will have the rare opportunity of gaining new insights from speakers at the summit and conference that form some of the activities packaged for the 1 week. The programs will also provide networking and pitching platforms to sale new ideas and meet people of like drives.

Last month, the Director of the Enterprise Development Centre, Peter Bamkole, spoke glowingly about the role of the centre in providing a new generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs with the necessary skills necessary for success in business.
