The project which aims to reduce unemployment in Nigeria by providing launch-base for talented youths is sourcing for entries from every part of the country. After registration, audition is expected to begin in earnest across 11 states of the federation where 45 youths will be selected for the grand finale.

The successful participants picked from the audition will be camped in Lagos where they will be tutored by professional film-makers and artistes. The top 3 talents that will emerge from the intense training and drilling exercises will be awarded N2 million each.

Speaking about the 3-in-1 talent hunt show, the project director, Mr. Kingsley Amafibe, said, “We shall hold auditions in 11 states, including the FCT, Lagos, Jos, Benin, Kaduna, Enugu and Calabar, among other cities across Nigeria”.

He added, “A total number of 45 youths, 15 each for acting, music and comedy categories, will be selected for the grand finale in Lagos,”

The entertainment industry in Nigeria contributes 5% of Nigeria’s GDP. Valued at roughly $5 billion, extending opportunities from top-to-bottom of the ladder in the industry will help fully maximise the potential of key players in the industry as well as create a sustenance plan to bring up raw talents. That, especially is the beauty of projects such as ‘Big Dreams’ if it is eventually executed well.
